The restaurant service was excellent, and the food was delicious. However, I was slightly disappointed with the steak, which was medium-rare. I felt that it was overcooked on the outside, making the meat quite tough to cut. Despite this, the flavours were amazing, and the sides of tenderstem broccoli and spinach were delicious. The apple crumble was outstanding, and we were delighted to receive complimentary slices of the chocolate brownies, which were also delicious.

This is such a good restaurant. Beautiful atmosphere, lovely setting and excellent staff. And, of course, the food… Peking Duck is simply delicious and not excessively priced. The other dishes were also really good (especially the Kung Pao prawns, though £15 for a small bowl of simple egg-fried rice, no matter how good, was pushing it. The wine-list is interesting, but also expensive. However, dining here really is a treat, and the Peking Duck is stellar.

We booked a table for 6 at short notice and they were able to fit us in. Service was excellent, friendly and helpful. The food was outstanding and we had a fantastic lunch. I would recommend highly and will definitely visit again.

Galvin offers everything we want from a fine dining experience! We first dined at Galvin in 2017 and are there at least twice a year, I can honestly say the food gets better every visit! The staff are polite and attentive, and the Head Sommelier Rudina is just amazing. She makes beautiful recommendations based on your budget. She is super friendly too, a wonderful person.
