64 Goodge Street is a new restaurant from Woodhead Restaurant Group, which opened in early August 2023. A former travel agent in our beloved Fitzrovia (64’s older siblings Portland and Clipstone are just round the corner), we were hugely excited by the opportunity this blank slate of a site afforded us.

We’ve been able to build from the bottom up, and therefore design every inch of space to meet our hope for 64 Goodge Street. Namely, that it is a space in which guests feel utterly taken care of.

We are open Monday to Saturday for lunch and dinner. We very much hope to see you soon.

Lovely dinner - really romantic and cosy candlelit restaurant with very attentive and friendly staff. Extensive wine list and very tasty food. Our only complaint would be the valentines mark-up (seemed to be roughly 50% from the normal menu) but oh well.

Went with a friend and the staff was fantastic. Especially one waiter/chef called Benjamin, bless him he was only 18 but he really delivered and made us feel welcome. There was one server called Rufus though, think I went to school with him?!

We had a fantastic dining experience with friends at Kioku yesterday. The food was exceptional, the atmosphere was perfect, and the wine selection was impressive. Although a bit confused at the start of our evening, the personnel made up for that later on. We were complimented with some wagyu temaki, and everything that came from the kitchen was outstanding. We're eager to return when the terrace opens. Kudos to the talented chefs!

We landed at Paternoster after a week filled with all the ethnic foods and found this perfect spot for more traditional food. The ribeye was on point. The separate sides lacked some selection on the veggie side, but the mash potatoes and fries were good. The comments from our table said it was the best meal of the week. I agree.

A great find behind the very busy Edgware Road. A small, quaint basic restaurant, but the food was authentic. It was constantly busy, so I am presuming it is testimony to the quality of the food. When I arrived (5.20pm), the restaurant was not open (5.30pm opening). It was raining, and despite me standing outside getting wet, I was a little perturbed that they did not open the door and invite me in - I found that very strange!! Apart from that, the staff were very attentive and sometimes a little too eager to remove our plates, even though we had not finished. I do not like my hot food to be put on cold plates, a little aggravating, but something that should be addressed.

Friend and I decided to have dinner at Sette prior to going to the cigar lounge at the hotel. The staff were amazing and very attentive. I had the pleasure of taking my partner to Simpsons for her birthday dinner, and I wholeheartedly recommend the experience. The food was exceptional, and the staff were both highly professional and knowledgeable. The wine selection was excellent, and the thoughtful gesture of a birthday card and chocolates was greatly appreciated. We left the restaurant with genuine satisfaction and look forward to returning in the future.

This was my second visit to The Sussex,the first being two months ago.I once again can not fault the service which on both occasions I’ve found it to be efficient,friendly,warm,welcoming & knowledgeable.On this my second visit i didn’t enjoy the food quite as much as i had on my first visit.We chose the Local And Wild Set Menu,which is what i had thoroughly enjoyed on my first visit,and there was nothing wrong with any of the courses served but possibly some of the dishes were less interesting to my palate this time….But it was still a very good experience,my guest loved it,and we will definitely return. I ordered a bottle of their Nutbourne Vineyard Blush rose to enjoy with our meal and we both really enjoyed it and thought it to be excellent value.

The young lady waitress greeted us and gave us a choice of table. We received the menus straight away and it was not long before the drinks were delivered. The lack of mocktails was disappointing but the glass Fiano Carlomagna was a delight. It is very unusual to get such a good wine by the glass. It was a pity that the red, a Nero d'Avila from Sicily subsequently proved such a disappointment. A better red from Sicily needs to be sourced if the standard represented by the white is to be maintained. The combination of ingredients and the excellent cooking made for superb food and cannot be more highly recommended, it was so good. I have eaten in Michelin starred restaurants, and these courses were up there. Unusually for us, we each had a sweet course and the Chocolate Mousse with a very unusual Bay Cream was quite excellent. Disappointingly, the sweet wine I requested to go with the Birnham Blue did not arrive because the barman could not find the bottle. Perhaps he needs some training.

From the very beginning of the creative process, Jonny, Isa and the team think about how food and drink work together. Our wine list is given just as much attention as our food menu with an exclusive & carefully selected Argentine list. Alongside a selection of classics, we aim to explore small producers & lesser known varietals and regions.

I love Launceston Place. Every dish is different and bursting with flavour. Such a wonderful place to eat with friends. I was so disappointed to hear that it is closing.
