21 is a real gem of a restaurant. The food is fabulous and there's a lovely atmosphere. Although it was busy, the noise from other diners was not intrusive and there were plenty of staff to ensure you were well looked after. On that note, the staff are an absolute credit to the restaurant; friendly, chatty and smiley, whilst still being professional. They were attentive, without being intrusive, which is a real skill to master. Every member of staff from front of house reception, waiting staff, sommelier and bar staff, helped to make our visit a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Not sure why I haven't been here before, perhaps I thought it might be a little too formal but that's my mistake as it's not in the slightest bit stuffy, quite the opposite. I may have lost out on a wonderful place and some fantastic food over the years because of a misconception, but I plan on rectifying that error by going back as often as I can from now on.

64 Goodge Street is a new restaurant from Woodhead Restaurant Group, which opened in early August 2023. A former travel agent in our beloved Fitzrovia (64’s older siblings Portland and Clipstone are just round the corner), we were hugely excited by the opportunity this blank slate of a site afforded us.

We’ve been able to build from the bottom up, and therefore design every inch of space to meet our hope for 64 Goodge Street. Namely, that it is a space in which guests feel utterly taken care of.

We are open Monday to Saturday for lunch and dinner. We very much hope to see you soon.

Located in a Grade II listed building on Cloth Fair, Cloth Restaurant is part of a historic row of buildings in the City of London that survived the Great Fire of 1666. Down this atmospheric alley opposite St Bartholomew church, Cloth is taking over a double fronted corner site that’s beneath the former home of poet John Betjeman and next door to the two oldest residential buildings in London.

Having eaten here a few weeks ago with a friend, I came again with 4 more friends. We all agreed it is a truly outstanding restaurant on all fronts. The staff are attentive and knowledgeable, food is excellent, all in a relaxing atmosphere. Chef Sebby Holmes launched Farang back in 2016 after trading at street food markets throughout London. A year later he took up temporary residency in Farang's current home in Highbury & Islington. Higher Ground is a bistro and bar located in Manchester city centre that focuses on seasonality within the UK using produce sourced from local suppliers and producers.

The restaurant is open Wed-Sat at dinner and Thurs-Sat lunch. From 14th November ’24, Higher Ground is opening on Thursday lunchtimes and is now open from 5pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays!

At lunch a £40pp seasonal sharing menu is offered alongside an à la carte menu. At dinner, both an à la carte and a seasonal sharing menu at £58pp are available. Both menus are available when sat at the kitchen bar counter.

We often hold space for walk-ins at the kitchen bar counter so pop by and have some plates and a glass of wine!

This was our second time here and we’d be back again based on the genuine kindness and warmth of the staff alone, nevermind the outstanding dishes made with great fresh produce. The vibe is casual and doesn’t take itself too seriously, whilst also maintaining the high quality standards you’d expect from a restaurant of this level. Can’t wait to come back again!

Flawless. From start to finish everything about it was superb. The greeting the door, when we arrived, the service throughout, the main restaurant and lounge, the wine, and the food (of course the food!), the attention to detail, all if it incredible. It was our first time (and our first time in a two star) and we’d wanted to go for ages, and we weren’t disappointed. You build it up in your mind for a long time, and it still exceeds. I could move into the lounge area and just live there forever.

Fabulous dinner. The menu remains a "surprise" until serving which is such a treat. For those of you who like to have control in every aspect of your life: just let go and trust the Team. Every plate was balanced, providing perfect layers of subtly in the mouth. There were so many components to each dish...we can't imagine how much time is put into creating the perfect bite! Beautiful presentation as well. The wine pairings and descriptions by the sommeliers were interesting, introducing us to several vintages that were previously unknown to us. And the servers were so professional and friendly. It felt like they had prepared the dinner in their homes and were treating us to a great meal. Such a breath of fresh air! This was our first visit to Chefs Table and from the warm welcome we received as we arrived it was clear we were going to have a really enjoyable evening. The food was fantastic ,very innovative and wonderful flavours and the decision on which dish to choose was very difficult as all sounded delicious !!! A modern pub serving a frequently changing menu, available in our dining room, bar, and outside ledges. It's not fine dining, nor is it trying to be. We cook in a way that we as cooks like to eat, so don’t be afraid to share. If you want to pop in for a burger and a pint, feel free to grab any available space in the bar or outside. We accept bookings for tables of up to six people in the dining room.

It can be loud and slightly chaotic; at night it is dark. We turn tables because we need to in order to survive and pay the people that make it work, so please don’t be offended if we ask you to wait a moment for your table. Our dining room has limited space and we don’t offer high chairs, so please let us know in advance if you're bringing a pram or need to adjust your booking size.

Our menus are seasonally-focused and change daily based around the best produce delivered each morning.

We suggest bookings, but do take walk-ins.

We had an excellent lunchtime meal here today. All of the food was excellent, with good portion sizes and it was really good value (there is a 2 course offer in the afternoon). The staff were all really friendly and made sure we had everything we needed and the pub itself is really nice and has a good atmosphere. We will definitely be visiting again and would absolutely recommend it for good quality pub food, done really well, in a nice environment with great staff.

Trinity reopened in October 2015 with the same ethos, culture and team whilst recreating a new and refreshing backdrop - retaining its sophistication and remaining a restaurant of significance in Clapham.
An alfresco dining area accommodates 16 guests, the dining room seating 40 guests that now have a clear view into an open plan kitchen with banquette seating surrounded by the soft hues of jade green and dusty heather pink.
Staying true to his style of cookery, the new menu will focus on Adam’s interpretation of great classics in a relaxed and approachable setting.
The kitchen presents a four course a la carte menu for a set price of £70 for lunch and £120 for dinner. The wine list continues to offer great value with the Chef's Cellar List (just add VAT and corkage), increasing both our quantity and quality and a overall extension to the main wine list of up to 400 bins now on display in the feature wine cellar on the ground floor.

Trivet derives from the age-old cooking utensil - an iron tripod placed over fire to support a cooking pot or kettle - reflecting the warmth and balance which forms Head Chef Jonny Lake and Master Sommelier Isa Bal’s values for the restaurant, as well as their working relationship.

From the very beginning of the creative process, Jonny, Isa and the team think about how food and drink work together. The menu features their explorations of ingredients, dishes and drinks from around the world, inspired by the culinary history and diversity around us. The wine list is set out chronologically, following the historic beginnings of wine to present day, with over 350 wines from classic producers to the New World, as well as acknowledging the root of viti-vinoculture with wines from Georgia, Armenia and Turkey.

As well as the welcoming main dining room, Trivet has a terrace, wine bar and private dining space. Monday nights transform into the LaBombe Wine Bar.

It was our first visit and it was delightful. The host was very friendly and had a nice chat with my husband about football. As it was our first visit, he explained how the small plate system worked. The young lady serving us was very friendly and efficient. We had some lovely food. Even though they are small plates, we had enough to eat. The chocolate and ginger tart was a singing combination!!! Will definitely go again.
