This is a wonderful restaurant that is always magical at this time of year, especially with the traditional dripping wax candles stuffed into bottle necks in the windows. It’s so charming and full of atmosphere and we were given my favourite table in the window. Blacklock is a modern version of the Great British chophouse. Set in an old electricity substation on the site of London"s oldest meat market. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our real charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails that give back and wine on tap in our atmospheric subterranean chop mecca. On Sundays we serve a Roast almost as good as Mum's.

The food was great - my partner's Red Snapper main was slightly too spicy for her, but my lamb shank was incredible. The restaurant was very very quiet when we arrived (18:30 on a Saturday) but it started to busy up at 19:30-20:00. The staff were so polite and attentive. Our food turned up probably a bit too quick, but I think this was probably because it was so quiet, they could get the food out quick. Serving staff might want to be careful that customers don't feel rushed.

A truly elevated experience. The dining room is elegant yet cozy. The windows are original and works of art. The service is exceptional. A professional team of experienced waiters. This is my second visit here in three days. First, my daughter and I had a lovely 3 course Sunday dinner and then I followed up with a 2 course lunch today. The server from dinner recognized and greeted me warmly when I walked in the door today. She also happens to manage the wine list and is extremely knowledgeable on the subject, so makes great food and wine pairing suggestions. The food is beautifully made with fresh seasonal ingredients, the staff provides excellent service and the ambience is comfortable and homey. Clipstone is a very enjoyable experience all around, and I highly recommend it.

The experience reminds me of a traditional Italian trattoria in a city neighbourhood. There was a good mix of regulars and city visitors which added to the cosy ambience. The pub was founded in 1846 and it began its life as the Bedford Arms. Ten years later it changed to the Prince of Wales and in 1965 became The Fox & Pheasant and we have no intention of changing its name again!

We are long-standing customers of The French Table. We had the Tasting Menu which had seven courses each one being superb, the best being the last with a quite superb pistachio cheesecake. Extremely welcoming; excellent food and service; expensive but you get what you pay for I don’t like background music most restaurants that I’ve been in have it - indeed once InCornwall we were the only diners at lunch and asked for the music to be turned off. The staff said they were unable to do this, but they could turn it down a bit, I suspect that a poll of diners would overwhelmingly ask for a quiet restaurant. I have not seen such a poll.

A really different approach to serving Italian food with sharing plates - the amounts in each plate are sufficient to share and overall with about 5-6 plates there is more than enough. The advantage is you enjoy a wide choice of different plates which is good as the food is prepared and cooked to perfection. Octopus, ravioli and ox cheek all delicious and calamari fresh and delicate. The "ice cream" tastes like proper Italian gelato. Despite the fact they were full the evening we were there the service was attentive and efficient without hovering. They were friendly and very helpful.

Trinity reopened in October 2015 with the same ethos, culture and team whilst recreating a new and refreshing backdrop - retaining its sophistication and remaining a restaurant of significance in Clapham.
An alfresco dining area accommodates 16 guests, the dining room seating 40 guests that now have a clear view into an open plan kitchen with banquette seating surrounded by the soft hues of jade green and dusty heather pink.
Staying true to his style of cookery, the new menu will focus on Adam’s interpretation of great classics in a relaxed and approachable setting.
The kitchen presents a four course a la carte menu for a set price of £70 for lunch and £120 for dinner. The wine list continues to offer great value with the Chef's Cellar List (just add VAT and corkage), increasing both our quantity and quality and a overall extension to the main wine list of up to 400 bins now on display in the feature wine cellar on the ground floor.

Vivido is a truly Independent, family run business and we have been here just over 4 years. We are excited to show everyone our ongoing improvements.

We are still serving authentic Italian and Mediterranean cuisine, We pride ourselves on using fresh local produce, as we know this will result in the highest quality dishes for our customers.

Our new Terrace is now open for the summer, each table has its own parasol and heater, although this will keep you dry in showers we cannot guarantee to keep you dry in some circumstances. We also cannot guarantee a table inside once booked on the terrace.

Bookings are available for food only. We are happy for you to join us just for drinks, but due to limited tables this will be on a walk in basis only.

An excellent meal, we asked for a good sized table away from noisy groups which was offered. The service was perfectly paced and the staff polite and attentive. Vivido is fast becoming the best restaurant in Harrogate.

Not enough superlatives- I was dubious when the ceviche came out last but it was a stroke of genius by the chef - a wonderful palate cleanser to end the small plate selection perfectly - cannot recommend enough - would definitely return!

MERE is husband and wife team, Monica and David Galetti's first restaurant.
Spread over two floors, this Fitzrovia-based restaurant is the brainchild of Monica Galetti who is featuring as a judge on the BBC's MasterChef The Professionals.
The restaurant itself serves a variety of traditional Pacific Island delicacies that have been delicately created by Monica and Sven our Head Chef.
Nestled above the spacious basement restaurant is the bar, managed by our Mixologist Glenn, which serves an array of delectable cocktails.
Monica's husband, David , is in charge of the Front of House at Mere with his Restaurant Manager Eugenio, and using his years of experience as an expert sommelier to create a wine selection along side his head Sommelier Alex that perfectly balances with the seasonal dishes on offer.

Housed in the old congregational chapel on Lendal, NOLA is a new Restaurant & Bar styled in a 1920s Art Deco Theme, the upstairs bar and waiting area is decorated in period mirrors and marble. Downstairs is the main restaurant, which has large leather upholstered chairs and easy banquette seating and dark wood panelling.
Our food is a mix of Cajun inspired dishes and tastes from around the globe, served on smaller plates giving the guest a chance to be more adventurous with their choices. The drinks and cocktails menu are designed to complement the extensive food menu.
