Wonderful experience, we were celebrating our honeymoon and they took very good care of us. We had a great table overlooking the water. The food and beverage were outstanding, highly recommend the tuna crudo! We cannot wait to return!

absolutely love VELA!! greetings from the lovely Rosario the hostess who welcomed us and remembered us from another visit. The service is top notch! Gregario was our server and he went above and beyond our expectations!!! we enjoyed carpaccio, burrata, risotto and tiramisu. Absolutely perfect! Great drinks, delicious, gourmet meal, exceptional service, plus a wonderful view. My husband and I shared the calamari, the best we've ever had, very light and tender, and then shared the arugula and date salad, fresh and tasty. I had the ribeye as my entree, my favorite cut of meat, and it was delicious. My husband had the miso tuna. We shared, so I got to have some, too. It was perfectly prepared with just the right touch of miso glaze. The tuna was super fresh, again the best we've ever had. Because everything was SO good, we had to try a dessert. We split a piece of their Cabo lime pie. Again, absolutely delicious. We enjoyed the extras, too, including the amuse touches and more throughout the meal. The staff was very professional, unpretentious, and friendly. Just like the food, the drinks were special and expertly crafted. Of course, the view and ambiance was wonderful, on an elevated patio above the beach and sea. There was a full moon the night we dined here. Absolutely perfect and beautiful! My husband and I have been lucky to have dined all over the world. 7 Seas is certainly one of our favorites and not to be missed.

With a view over the zocalo and cathedral the setting is fabulous. The menu was creative and both of use the 4-course tasting menu. The food was very well cooked and presented. The place was nice and the food was good, but I had mentioned in the booking that it was my mums 60th birthday and that we would like to sit outside, which they agreed to but then when we arrived we were sitting inside. We waited a long time to be served and it was quite difficult to get the attention from staff sometimes as they were very busy so we had to wait for a while. It was a nice place and I would go again, but I don’t think it was very special for this occasion as my requests weren’t met.

Food was oddly uneven. We ordered the mezze platter, two appetizers, two sides, a fish to share, and dessert. My date was Greek and had a ton of context on the meal. Greek ceviche and fish roe spread were memorable stars - we ate every bite and considered getting more and I want to rave about them everywhere. Seriously. Barracuda prepared greek style and asparagus were solid, as were several of the other mezze dips, the walnut cake, and the salad. Personally, the kind of hard wheat pita was very much not for me. Overall a lovely evening on a cute patio with very attentive staff. the ceviche is worth the trip!

All seats are in the fresh open air with different coverages, including umbrellas, retractable awnings and hard cover. The absolute best place to sit in an amazing garden full of wild birds while waiting for our table, enjoying the best peanuts, drinks and reading about the locations history and recipes. The orchid tree we sat directly across from was absolutely stunning! The service was impeccable, the food even better! I asked for their best chicken dish and the curry was out of this world. I don’t like curry at all, but at this place has a version of it that is unbelievable! The music, the decor, hotel, hacienda, etc etc etc was everything I could ever imagine of not better! Love, love, love. I will definitely stay here if I ever go back. I intended on going back for a 2nd try but our time ran out. It’s an absolute must!

This was the best “fine-dining” experience we had in Oaxaca. The food was amazing and adventurous, mixing flavors, but with supreme skill. Very attentive service and a beautiful view from their terrace. Be warned, however, that that seating option is up three flights of stairs. Otherwise, a perfect dinner
