Our waiter Cam offered the greatest service celebrating my birthday with family. Ambience here is serene and beautiful, food is cooked with simplicity bringing out its true flavors, scallops, filet mignon and rainbow trout were our choices. You can’t go wrong with any of them! Food and service are top notch but the prices are too high. I realize costs have gone up etc etc. I’ve eaten at Sheldon Inn for many years. Now it’s unaffordable. Tonight’s dinner was a splurge that can’t happen again. I’m glad there are people who can afford it. Let them enjoy. I will be unable to return due to cost. Especially because I can get a better burger, the least expensive thing on your menu, at Tower Cafe or Revolution Winery and Kitchen for less than yours. Disappointing that you’ve priced yourself out of my disposable income.

We've been having to many asian restaurants and we wanted to try something new. Saw the menu of Aioli Bodega Espanol and looked delish. It's a drive for us from Roseville but we had a free schedule. We ate in the outside patio, and it was comfortable even in the chilly, windy weather outside. Service was excellent. One of us had the scallops -- 10/10!, the other the duck breast, 6/10. A great place to celebrate special occasions (birthday in our case).

The service was great, warm and welcoming, attentive but not interruptive. The food was above average. My husband had the halibut, he said it was very good but my rib eye - oh my gosh it was cooked perfectly. It had a sauce. Supposedly truffle, but I didn’t get that overwhelming truffle flavor so the actual flavor of the steak came through and it was scrumptious. I only wish it had been a bit larger but was perfectly satisfied. They must have a new chef, because this was above and beyond. You made my husbands birthday extra special and renewed my faith that Redding can be a foodie town after all. Thank you View 202!

told couldn't get in until 8:45! Yes, busy, could see. Firmly told Open Table could do no better. Immediately got 6:45 Open Table! Only 1/4 full then and the same as I left over an hour later. Good food, excellent service but so noisy couldn't talk to friend.
