I didn’t get our waiters name, young guy very attentive, friendly and pleasant. We sat outside on the patio and it’s the only place I want to eat there now. The ocean view is spectacular and more importantly the food was excellent .

We had a rough start to our dinner... right before we were sat the restaurant's system went down and we had to wait about an hour. The good news was that once it was back up and running, the place had cleared out pretty well and we were sat right away. Allison was our server and she was amazing. The star of the show was Paul, our Chef. An absolute legend of a chef and he made the evening super enjoyable. Allison kept our drinks full and checked on us frequently. What started as a rough dinner experience ended up being one of our best Benihana meals ever! Oh, and kudos to the ladies at the host station... they did a great job keeping everyone informed on the progress and handled angry customers well.

This is the second or third time that I've been to this location, since the remodel. I mean I've been to the Brigantine for years and years and I think the remodel is hideous. I don't like it. It's very cold inside. It's not warm and cozy like the old fashioned style. The is rather slow. They need to ramp up more employees or they need to come up with a better game plan. The food is still okay. I was surprised the fish taco was in one big piece. I thought it was going to come in little flakes or something to that nature. I didn't expect it to be like a big piece of fish that would go on a sandwich bun so that was a little disappointing but other than that everything was good.

Take my boyfriend’s family and him here for his birthday. Food came out pretty quick and our server was very attentive. At the end of his dinner, the server brought out Keylime pie and surprised us. We always have lunch at Pacifica Del Mar on New Year's Day. Has been our tradition for 25 years and there is no better way to start the new year. Beautiful ocean view, impeccable service, great menu selections, piping hot delicious food, wow factor cocktails...it all adds up to an amazing experience. Highly recommend. We had a lovely anniversary lunch at Jake's, sitting at an ocean front window table. Fabulous view, great service. We shared the fish tacos and the seafood chowder. The kitchen was nice enough to split the orders into two for no extra charge. Our server also gave us the choice of a complimentary dessert for our anniversary. We chose chocolate peanut butter torte to share. It was delicious, but we couldn’t finish it. We had the Hula Pie at Duke’s in Maui, so we chose to try something else. We did have a taste of Hawaii with a very good Duke’s Mai Tai. Will be back if we visit Del Mar again! Also, use Jake's valet parking, which was $8 at lunch. We used the public parking across the street, which was a minimum of $25 for two hours.

Our server Kaden was fantastic and he added to the fun of the evening. He was so attentive and really heard what we like and had great food and wine suggestions. We had a reservation which helped. We were seated outside and it turned out to he ok with the heat lamps Oddly they were out of a some drinks - no sprite, could not make a Paloma. But waiter helped us out and comped a drink to ease the disappointment. Food was great. Beer great as always. Waiter excellent and friendly despite it being so busy.

The food was delicious and fresh. Best ever ! We had the lasagna, beef short ribs and gnocchi with requested arrabiata sauce. The vegetable fritura appetizer was amazing and our go to, along with the focaccia and tomato sauce. The patio has beautiful new lighting fixtures which creates a beautiful atmosphere!!

We have always loved the Brigantine. It wasn’t crowded so it was surprising how noisy it was. We were in the smaller glass walled dining area where the 4 of us could not hear each other due to the lack of sound absorbing materials. Pretty room but not conducive to quiet conversation.
