I had not been in many years but Birks was as good as I remembered!

Perbacco also features 2 dining rooms, one on the main floor and a smaller one on the Mezzanine, which has the added allure of serving as "theater", with windows to watch all the action in the kitchen below. Chef Staffan Terje strives to cook the finest food reflecting the Italian regions of Piemonte and Liguria. Handcrafted, house-made salumi, prosciutto and other charcuterie are not to be missed. A true fine dining experience. There is a fully equipped bar, where we could have eaten, but we opted for the dining room. We had reservations, and I would recommend that you do so.

We were with a vegetarian and there were several veg options. Our waiter was polite and attentive. An absolutely wonderful place to meet old friends a have lunch!

The Brass Door, formerly known as the 8/5 Club, was established by Howard Schlesinger in 1946. It was originally a six-stool bar and 20-person dining facility. Schlesinger's son, Mickey, and his partner Dick Basso bought the club in 1955. Soon after, they renamed the club The Brass Door. Over the years, the partners expanded the facility to include a 20-stool bar, 50-seater cocktail lounge and a dining area for 160 guests. Following a brief closure in 1994 due to a fire, the restaurant was rebuilt from its original location.

We are "the local meeting place" for business and social events in the San Ramon Valley. It is a place where generation after generation of families has come to meet friends and family. It is a place where newcomers to the valley soon become old friends.
The Brass Door, formerly known as the 8/5 Club, was established by Howard Schlesinger in 1946. It was originally a six-stool bar and 20-person dining facility. Schlesinger's son, Mickey, and his partner Dick Basso bought the club in 1955. Soon after, they renamed the club The Brass Door. Over the years, the partners expanded the facility to include a 20-stool bar, 50-seater cocktail lounge and a dining area for 160 guests. Following a brief closure in 1994 due to a fire, the restaurant was rebuilt from its original location.

We had several starters, which are all very good. The duck was fantastic as was the bread with the sweet creamy butter. Perfection. Food was amazing! Practically licked my plate clean. Despite the sign outside that said “please wait to be seated” we waited and no one came. So we walked inside and found someone to seat us. Food was amazing! Practically licked my plate clean. Despite the sign outside that said “please wait to be seated” we waited and no one came. So we walked inside and found someone to seat us. Mind you, we had reservations, but seemed odd we weren’t welcomed or greeted. Our server was polite and quick but nothing impressive. No meal suggestions. I had Gilberto as a Server tonight and couldn't be more delighted. My guest and I enjoyed a wine flight and a variety of dishes. Thank you Gilberto for giving a great experience. We enjoyed a nice wine flight, gnocci starter (so freaking good), salad, pizza, salmon and dessert. Loved those shots of tequila too! If you go here, ask for Gilberto, Luis or Karen. First time dining here - selection was excellent with many varied choices - lovely staff - delicious food - fabulous ambiance - however my choice of French Dip with onion rings was a little deflating when the server came back to announce that onion rings were not available today - in the end it was perfectly okay - substitute of Caesar salad was healthier and yummy

We had a great time celebrating Valentine's Day at Mistral - we hadn't been in years and just live down the street. The prix fixe menu was lovely, and there was plenty of choice for us. Food was all well-prepared - I especially enjoyed my lobster risotto, and my husband especially enjoyed his poached pear salad. The service was lovely, too, and we really loved sitting out on the patio by the fireplace and under the heat lamps. Our only comment is that we still find the price to be a bit high. But we still enjoyed ourselves!
