I loved it here. 🥹 service was so fast & impeccable. I had the seabass & a side of truffle mac n cheese with a gorgeous glass of red ❤️ truly sensational & so flavourful! We were so lucky to be served by JEMIMA (Jae)! Right since I opened the entrance door, I could feel her warmth: sweet, extremely friendly, and genuinely handy. I had booked the second festive menu and the bar seating (thinking that it could have enhanced our experience). Then, I discovered that JEMIMA reserved a big table upstairs, as she knew we expected quite a few plates. Moreover, she made sure that everything arrived on time, one round after the other. Great food! Every dish hit the mark! The Fish curry and tandoori octopus were exquisite. The only grouse was that we were rushed at the end to wrap up which meant we couldn’t really enjoy the desserts.

Our dining experience was excellent. This was my favorite meal while visiting London, but also one of the best ever. The carbonara was delicious and the wine suggested by the sommelier was perfect. I will happily return the next time I am in London.

It would’ve been a perfect meal, had it not been for the waiter who told us that they don’t have small glasses to serve white wine in the whole of the restaurant! So he insisted on serving the chilled white wine in large red wine goblets until we pestered another server and she happily went and got them ! No reason for anyone to not have the correct etiquette in a Mayfair restaurant! Simply lazy or he didn’t think we were worthy enough to make an effort.
