   It was our first time dining at L'Opossum and we had so much fun! Service is exceptional and friendly. Everything we ate was beautiful and delicious. We loved the eclectic, tongue-in-cheek vibe of the concept. Highly recommend, and we will be back!

   Fantastic dinner. David Shannon rocks. Every morsel was over-the-top delicious and Kendel, our server, couldn't have been more polished, personable, and professional. The Vegan Orgy on Texas Beach was a complete flavor banger as promised, I would sell my soul for another bite of the Swank Bank — the whole thing is obscenely delicious, and the halibut was, of course, to die for. Thank you for a special birthday dinner.

   I’ve been dying to try this place and unfortunately I was a bit under the weather tonight. However, the food was lovely, the servers attentive, and it’s such a funky wee place. Will return when I can try a cocktail and eat more. ❤️

   Fantastic as usual! 3 of us had the faberge egg with lobster and smoked salmon , which I loved . I had the Moroccan chicken , which had just the right spices with carrots and couscous, 1 of us had the steak which I tried and was delicious, and the others had the halibut, also raved about. The best came last however with the chocolate dessert with fantastic ice cream and a pumpkin pie dessert special. Our waitress was superb as well!!

   Dinner for 4 on a Thursday night, everybody raved about the food: Moroccan chicken, halibut, crab cakes; duck confit and sugar toads (they're fish!) appetizers, lemon creme brulee and pumpkin pomegranate pie desserts. All of them perfection. Cool vibe, attentive service, great music, not loud for as busy as it was. Love this place!

    service is outstanding in every way. wine was delicious. drinks very good. appetizers were delicious, but the entrees were inconsistent. the crab cakes just ok (but no one in richmond makes good ones - chefs should go to maryland to learn to cook some good ones) and the lobster mac and cheese was chewy/tough and lacking in flavor - even with extra truffle service (a waste of $18). the steak was very good and the fish of the day delicious. the deserts were delicious. a wonderful place for a special occasion (not our first time), but the food was a disappointment for over $600 inc. tip for 4
