Mariposa Restaurant boasts a spectacular ocean view and extraordinary cuisine from Executive Chef Lance Kosaka.

Reservation was for 1:15pm, arrived at 1:15pm and waited for 2 minutes to speak to the receptionist. She mentioned that table is being set-up. We waited for about 10 minutes before we were seated. Receptionist mentioned that my reservations were at 1:30pm. Open table listed my reservation at 1:15pm. Service was not the greatest. The food was excellent. Tipped 18% because the food was excellent. Service needs improvement.

We had confirmed and re-confirmed reservations for a certain time, but no table was available until 30 minutes after the reservation time. As this reservation was for a lunch during a business day, the delay was very inconvenient. But the food was wonderful! The service, when received, was gracious and professional -- but it was slow. We had to ask for our server twice as he was too busy handling too many tables. Especially considering we had already lost a half hour because of the delayed seating, it was a disappointing experience. All the staff were pleasant under stress.

ハネムーンでハワイを訪れました。結婚式の司会者さんに、こちらを紹介してもらい、ランチのテラス席を予約しました。着くと、一番外側のテラス席を案内していただき、興奮！ポップオーバーは初めて体験する美味しさでした！パッションティー、ハンバーガーを注文し、美味しくいただきました。お会計前に、ハネムーンおめでとう、とサービスでアイスを出していただきました。風が強い中、ろうそくの火もつけてくださり、にこやかにお祝いしていただきました。とても心があたたまり、来店してよかったと心から思いました！

It was my son's 37th bday. We celebrated it although it was bitter-sweet as the last time he was there, we were celebrating it with his younger brother who passed 5 years ago. So I wanted to take my son to where he and his brother both were there to celebrate their 24th and 19th bday. They are ONLY 2 days apart. My son ordered the pork chops and he seemed to enjoy it while I noticed that it was a little too pinkish/reddish color? So we got our server to take it back as he agreed that it was a lil too pink and they prepared another one and THAT WAS VERY VERY good! They made up for it too as they gave him a very nice Macnut pie with HAPPY BIRTHDAY printed on a sm bar of chocolate. We love Mariposa~we will always have fond memories there. I always have the crab and shrimp Loui Salad~excellent as always. The popovers and the consommé soup is always a hit! Thank you!

Mariposa never disappoints. It’s my friends and my favorite restaurant to have our special birthday lunches. Our waiter Kai was such an amazing waiter which made it even more enjoyable.

The food was so good! Chicken Milanese was moist and tender with a delicate crispiness on the crust. Smoked salmon salad was very good. There was a live entertainment that was too loud and it gave me a headache trying to talk to my friend snd hearing the continuous singing. He was good but too loud.
