Matteo's of Roslyn has been "our place" to go for many years now. Ambiance is wonderful. The food is beyond great, with generous portions at a reasonable price. Coconut martini is fabulous. The staff is amazing.....What more can be said.

For LI Restaurant Week, Mateo's has the best menu and value around. Our waiter, Darwin, was super attentive and lovely.

Reservations are a must. They have the best Prixe Fixe menu around. The burrata appetizer is top notch as well as the balsamic drizzle on the plate. Compliments the fresh green and red tomatoes. The pasta dishes are perfectly al dente and seafood is fresh. My favorite sauce is the franchese - goes well with everything. Especially the breaded pork chops with hot cherry tomatoes. All works well together.
