McKirdy’s Steakhouse, on 151-155 Morrison Street, is a critically acclaimed restaurant serving Scottish delicacies in Edinburgh. It is very just 10 minutes walk from Edinburgh Haymarket train station. Edinburgh International Conference Centre is only a minute away and Filmhouse could be reached in about 3 minutes from its location. McKirdy’s Steakhouse is the only restaurant in the city owned by a family of butchers who have won numerous awards since they have started in the business in 1895. The hospitable atmosphere of the restaurant is palpable even from the outside. McKirdy’s Steakhouse sources the freshest of ingredients from local suppliers including their own establishment. Juicy burgers, steaks and fillets dominate the menu. Pan fried or char-grilled items like chicken wings or manchego strips are fit for eating with a glass of wine or beer and also has a separate menu on offer for children.
