As the name suggests, Moules a go-go is famous for its mussels, fresh from the shores of Anglesey, served in a variety of ways from simple Moules Marinieres to Korean. The vast selection of seafood dishes ranging from traditional fish and chips to scrumptious Sea Bass is impressive, though equally appealing are the locally sourced juicy steaks . After 17 successful years in business amongst tough competition, Moules a go-go is still going strong, boasting superb food and a great atmosphere in contemporary yet comfortable surroundings. The head chef and manager have been there since the restaurant’s inception; such longevity is a rare blessing in the tempestuous world of the steaming kitchen, but this dedication shows in the consistency and quality of the food and service. Lunch Menu - Two Courses for £30 / Three Courses for £35
We are an independent restaurant in the heart of Chester offering microseasonal dining with menus designed around what's growing on our farm in Daresbury. Menus change every four to six weeks.
Happy Hour is available in our lounge from 4-6pm on Thursday-Saturday with "Two for £15" Cocktails, wine and beer specials.

    Great service, with very attentive and helpful staff. The atmosphere was calm and relaxed. The food was delicious. We especially enjoyed the bone marrow with onions appetizer. The dish we wanted to try was sold out (the chateaubriand), so we opted for a rib eye and rump instead. We ordered three sides, all of which were delicious. The steaks were delicious , although the rib eye was tad over our preferred done-ness, and a the rump was a little tougher than we expected. The staff listened to our feedback and gave us a discount. We appreciate how seriously they took our feedback despite us assuring them the food was still good. This shows how important the customer experience is to them. Thank you.

    Breakfast was table service, which I felt was a big improvement. Staff were lovely. Room was upgraded. Food was good. The Asian salad didn't have any kind of dressing on it, therefore it was very ordinary. They don't serve cocktails. Pork belly was good with a lovely cider gravy ( I requested more which wasn't a problem ) you pay extra for sides. There is a £5 supplement for a few of the breakfast items eg avocado. We had a lovely time. Bed and breakfast was only £60 ppl which is good value especially when you can use the lovely warm pool, even after checkout.

    All in all - excellent! I had the pork which was ‘melt in the mouth’ and my husband had the steak and Stilton pie - beautiful food. The staff were very attentive and The Bulls Head should be very proud of them. Wished we lived nearer and could eat there again!

    We both had steaks. It was probably the best steak we’ve had in a long time, the chips were cooked to perfection and everything was hot! Will definitely return.
