Mia Francesca features the zesty, earthy cuisine of Rome and the surrounding areas of Tuscany, Umbria, and Lazio. It was one of the first restaurants in Chicago to encourage the lively art of dining with a contemporary, casually sophisticated trattoria ambiance, simple, rustic cooking, friendly service, and fair prices.

Waiting for a table at the beautiful antique bar is part of the charm of Mia Francesca. The plush upstairs dining room and lounge can be reserved for private events, as can the more intimate coach house tucked away behind the restaurant. Pasta was served warm not hot and not very tasty, tables wsy to close to each other , service charge a big disappointment! Staff was great except for ur cook!

The food we had at Mia Francesca’s was great, but what really set it apart was the service. Ben was a fantastic waiter: extremely kind, personable, and offered stellar menu recommendations! We are very glad we chose Mia Francesca’s for our Valentine’s Day celebration and especially grateful to Ben for going above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. Would recommend to anyone looking for a lovely night out.

Amazing service and amazing food as usual! We celebrated Valentine’s Day and they were able to accommodate a special request we made. We also got engaged and married there!

Our waitress, Audrey, was fantastic! The only down side was the pasta was lukewarm when it came out. It was delicious but would have been outstanding if it was hotter. That said, we love Mia Francesca’s and have been going there for 30 years!

We dined at Mia Francesca for Restaurant Week. Our server, Kevin, was great. The food was good, but my date felt the carbonara was a little bland. Our overall experience was great, and we plan to come back.
