                    For the pricetag and hype, I/we had higher hopes. We were celebrating a special occasion; noted on our reservation. We were seated in a “mixed” crowd of crazies, kids, and families, and there was no “special” about it. Chef was “meh”, service was “meh”, and overall vibe was “meh”… then we paid a bunch of money… got a wrong check, and left with a 2 pack of cheap “made in china” stickered chopsticks. I guess we had higher expectations due to the hype of this place and the expense… our mistake. It felt very “McDonaldsy”. Was expecting a more private, grown-up, “anniversary”-special dinner.

                    Our family gathers from long and far to meet and enjoy the experience of Mikado! The food is great, just be prepared for a very loud and expensive experience!

                    The food and the chef were excellent! The bar service was pitiful and I told the server it was poor, yet they charge an 18% automatic tip so obviously they don't care! We will go the the restaurant again but never the bar at the entrance!
