Milton's is a local restaurant that is a beautifully renovated 150 year old Farmhouse displaying many of it's original features, nestled in the heart of the Crabapple area of Milton, Georgia, a suburb of Atlanta. Executive Chef Derek Dollar serves “New Southern” cuisine that utilizes fresh, local ingredients to create regionally inspired comfort food with bold flavors that are artistically presented in a relaxed and friendly environment. We were seated out of the main home on the enclosed patio at a table that rocked near the kitchen. Just not sure I understand how this request was totally missed. Food and service was as always on point.

                                                                                        Cute place. Pleasant environment. Nice if you want to converse with each other at the table. I found the bread and some vegetables too salty. Steaks were done mostly to order. One in the party ordered medium but came out closer to rare. But the food was overall, delicious. The fried green tomatoes were wonderful, the deviled eggs also. The meatloaf was great. The chocolate mousse was outstanding. The crème brûlée was fine but a small serving, in my opinion. The waiter, Eric, was relaxed and personable, knowledgeable and enhanced the experience.

                                                                                        We chose Milton’s for a birthday dinner—4 adults. The service was friendly and prompt. I had the NY strip and was overjoyed that it was cooked exactly as I like it and as I described it to the waiter (really pink but no red). My husband had the trout, which he liked, and my friend had the crab cakes, which he said were excellent. I’m looking forward to dining here more frequently.

                                                                                        My sister and I enjoyed a lovely meal at Milton’s. We were seated promptly and were soon after greeted. We had some very specific allergens to avoid and our server Fiona was attentive to our needs and provided several options. Both meals were tasty and brought out in a very timely manner. The crab cakes were flavorful with large chunks of crab, and were served on a savory corn risotto. We will definitely be back!
