    I really wished this was a better review—the location and ambiance are great. Unfortunately, the main dishes were just okay—not bad, but not really good either, and disappointing for the price point ($$$$). The sushi was just barely okay, which was disappointing.

    Everything was delightful during our dinner at Mitch‘s Seafood on El paseo. The ambience, service and food were superb. I can’t wait to go back and dine again !

    We were seated at a table outside and the place was packed. Glad we had a reservation. We ordered several appetizers: spider roll which was just okay, not what we usually get when we eat sushi, muscles were tasty but very small but the broth was delicious for dipping the rolls into which were very good, the beet salad was delicious and so was the flourless chocolate cake. The decor was a little funky for my taste but overall we had a nice meal but not as outstanding as I expected compared to the photos they had on line.

    Always a treat to bring our out of town friends to Mitch’s! The food is always delicious and service outstanding. First time for lunch and will definitely be back tho the ambience at dinner is fantastic!
