   The food is always exceptional here. Everything on the menu is dynamite. Service is always wonderful. Only complaint, it’s always freezing in there no matter what time of the year I go and the seats by the stairs are the worst seat in the house and I somehow always get sat there. Minor inconvenience for some of the best food in Calgary though.

   The food and drinks were, as always, delicious. Unfortunately, our experience was somewhat marred by a lackluster server who made us feel like an inconvenience. The volume of the music in the front area was overwhelming, making it difficult to have a conversation. We asked if the volume could be lowered or if we could be moved to the quieter upper section, but the server only said he would check on it and never followed up. The restaurant wasn’t busy that Sunday, and plenty of tables were available upstairs.

   Came here last night for a last minute for dinner. I got the AB Pork Coppa and it was fantastic. Sometimes you have pork at a restaurant and it can be a little dry....this was the complete opposite. It has flavour and is moist. Really amazing dish. I also got the White Cheddar Apple Pie, which was good. I liked the crust and ice cream. The apples were good but I'd have added a little cinnamon to take them up a notch. Otherwise, I'd gladly eat the apple pie again. The music is a little loud in the restaurant for my taste but that's what it is.

   Overall was a nice dinner. Waitress was very helpful and attentive. Drinks were expensive and mehhhh. Food was great, I would return but not running back.

    Unfortunately our service experience was abysmal. No matter how solid the food, you can’t make up for poor service.
