    Some of us had the strip steak. Although cooked to the degree we wanted, we all found it tough. We felt it should have been more tender. The portion of burrata was large for an appetizer but could have used more glaze. The rest of our food was very good.

    I've been several times but first time I took the family. My wife and son loved it. Food terrific as always and service is on the mark without ever being intrusive. I especially liked how concise the Thanksgiving menu was. Will be back again with the family. Not the cheapest menu but no place is cheap in Westchester County these days. I can spend same money and have a far less memorable meal and experience. Well done.

    Moderne Barn was simply superb when we dined there on Thanksgiving. As a party of 3, we enjoyed dishes that surpassed expectations both for preparation, and for portion size. Cocktails were creative and so, so good. Every dish was delicious in its own way, and all of the serving staff were warm and gracious... attentive to us and to every table without seeming stressed. The ambiance is lovely. 5+ stars!

    A quiet Sunday afternoon, just before Thanksgiving, so we headed to Moderne Barn at four for an early dinner. We shared an appetizer of mushroom dumplings, and husband had his favorite tuna dish, with perfectly cooked tuna accompanied by white rice and pea pods in a delicious and moderately spicy sauce. I ordered the scallops on a bed of rice and mushrooms, also incredibly tasty. It was a wonderful meal and a quiet time before Turkey Day. And, as usual, the Tanqueray gin martini straight up was perfect. The service was impeccable and parking is easy! Always a dele sable place for good cuisine.

    Sat upstairs on a Saturday. Don’t do it if you want to have a reasonably quiet convo. So load I couldn’t hear myself speak Also the food comes up warm or cool rather than out of the oven. So sad since their food is great. The wait staff and maitre de were incredible however.

    Great experience and atmosphere but the service was definitely not what we were expecting. Huge lag time from ordering to getting cocktail refills, and several request were seemingly forgotten. Status of water bottles was generally ignored all evening. Our desserts were served with no utensils and when we asked for some we were told, “ I’ll be back after I get your water refilled”. Not a good answer when ice cream is involved. On the positive side, all of our meals were outstanding and the atmosphere was wonderful.
