I have been going to Montalcino during the holiday season for around 7 years now, even during COVID when they set up a tent in the outside parking lot. Clearly, it has always been very good and that is why I keep returning. However, tonight the experience rose to "superb." The special assorted appetizer was beautifully arranged and tasted as good as it looked. My saffron lobster go-to dish was perfect. The other dishes--lamb shank, waygu meatballs and pasta in a Marsala sauce, and short rib raviolis in Marsala sauce also made the other guests very pleased! For dessert, the cannoli, pistachio cheesecake, Italian sundae, and Limoncello gelato were all excellent for topping off a memorable meal. Our waitress was very attentive and the atmosphere was so casually and comfortably elegant that the entire experience was top notch. Will not be able to wait until next year's holiday season to return again! Thank you, Montalcino!

Peppoli Chianti Classico red wine 5/5 Beet and burrata salad (special) 5/5 Lamb shank, veggie, risotto (special) 4.5/5 Short rib ravioli with marsala (special) 5/5 Pistachio cheesecake (special) 4/5 Incredible meal and experience! We unintentionally ordered solely off the specials menu and were very pleased with our choices. We will for sure be back to try more dishes from this lovely restaurant!

Amazing experience, small but cozy place. My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary and they brought complimentary Prosecco. Our server was great and the food was exceptional. Will definitely be back.

Cozy European-like setting. Welcoming host. Excellent service. Great food...a little heavy on the mushrooms e Funghi for my taste but would be heaven for others. If budget is a concern, then save Montalcino Ristorante Italiano for special occasions...otherwise enjoy every sitting. mg

Our dinner experience lived up to my memory of having been some years before. Exceptional service to the degree that substitutions were made with ease for allergies and intolerances. The food was excellent - all of us enjoyed our dishes very much. And being my birthday they brought out a small slice of tiramisu and sang happy birthday to me. Thank you for a wonderful evening!
