   Our server, Meaghan, was terrific as usual, and she made an outstanding wine recommendation. The jámon Serrano with almonds and the scallops crudo were superb. Fun experience once again.

   We booked a table here months ago and were so excited to try it after reading so many great reviews. Well… it was ok. First, we called ahead to see if they had a bar that we could have a drink at as we were running ahead of schedule and knew we would be early for our 7pm seating. We were told yes and that actually our table would be ready early. We get there and the hostess says that now our table is not ready, but we could wait at the bar. No problem. Their drink menu is slim… very very slim and bartenders seemed very inexperienced if you asked for a drink that was not on their cocktail menu. 20 minutes go by and still no table…then I get an alert on OpenTable saying my table is ready so we go to tell them. They said “oh you booked a seat at the bar”….. um no we definitely did not and I showed her my table reservation. She rolled her eyes and spoke with one of the managers/owners. She came back and said ok we can seat you and proceeded to walk us to the very back of the restaurant right next to the kitchen. No eye contact from hostess. At first it seemed kinda cool that you could watch the chefs so closely (almost like a Hell’s Kitchen/open kitchen atmosphere). But then as we sat there it got very warm and had a heavy smell of smoke coming from the kitchen area. Must be from the way the cook the food but it became a lot as you sat there. We ordered a few snacks and a few small plates for the the two of us which was plenty. The bread however was burnt, yet still served to us with plain olive oil (no spice/flavor). We did enjoy some of the dishes.The oxtail, ribs, and lamb were our favorites dishes we had. We wouldn’t order the octopus or crab gratin again; not impressed. The churros and goat cheese flan were delicious. But we were disappointed that they did not have any good liquors to pair with our dessert. We ordered two frangelicos and said they not only didn’t have, but did not have anything even similar to it? Very shocking for such a highly rated restaurant.

   Always a wonderful experience ! Lovely cost restaurant, with excellent delicious food ! We always try something new each time we visit and it is always unique combination of deliciousness! Drink choices are great and the service is impeccable with attentive servers who are friendly and cordial . One of our favorite restaurants in Pittsburgh ! We try to visit often !

   First time dining here, our server was very helpful with menu questions and led us in the direction we wanted. Food was so flavorful! Our snacks and small plates came out timed/spaced perfectly. Everything was great even dessert and the host accommodated our switch to a standard vs high top table.

    Definitely will be coming back love the vibe of this place and everything was spectacular! One of the best mezcal margaritas I’ve ever had. Selection of beer was great as well. We tried the goat cheese variety plate so delicious as well as the bread and oil and scallop crudo.
