Welcome to Murray's Restaurant. Minneapolis' original restaurant for steak since 1946 & home of the award winning Silver Butterknife Steak dinner for two. Also known for mouth watering garlic toast, Hickory Smoked shrimp appetizer, and home baked pies. Well into its third generation of family ownership, Murray's stands out among local and out of town diners alike as a true Twin Cities landmark & continues to provide the best in food and service as it did in 1946.

    Page our server was top notch would like to have her again next time I visit your restaurant. Please let her know that Shane gave her this rating to refresh her. We were the family of four in the back of the restaurant.  round 1 o’clock on December 24.

    Steak was amazing as always! Pretty loud with some big holiday groups but great service. Always decorate beautifully for the holidays 😊

    Food and ambience was great. Our waiter however was very inattentive. We were half way through our meal before he noticed we were out of drinks. He also never followed up to ask how the food was and just brought us our check. We had to ask another staff member to bring us bread because that was forgotten.

    What a fantastic holiday meal. Our food was perfectly prepared, the service was friendly and their recommendations very helpful. It was such a tremendous experience.
