Bavarian, cosy, traditional – and full of life: in our traditional Munich restaurant, the brewer´s room, the lion roars daily from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m..Typically Bavarian delicacies and varied daily meals are served with Löwenbräu beer specialties.Due to the extensive renovations during the summer 2008, our restaurant has become much friendlier and brighter and also features a great number of technical innovations.     We had an awesome time. The beer was so fresh and tasty that we had to have a second lol. The food was very traditional and very good. I would highly recommend this place!

    It’s a nice restaurant with a buzzy vibe. The service was very good. We both had Wiener Schnitzel which tasted very good. My only complaint is that it was a massive portion that hung over the entire plate. It was enough for three people. I felt like I was at a food eating contest rather than enjoying a meal. We didn’t eat it all and couldn’t take leftovers as our hotel didn’t have a fridge. I wouldn’t want to eat leftovers on vacation anyway. I would definitely go back as food quality was very good. I’d just make sure to order more carefully.

    Our lunch at Shimai was absolutely delicious. The chicken wings and special duck buns were amazing as was the miso edamame guacamole. Plus the atmosphere was cozy and quiet, perfect for a Sunday lunch in November. Our server was kind and attentive. We highly recommend this little gem in Munich!

    The restaurant is wonderful. The staff is very friendly and fun. Appetizers and main course fantastic. The dessert was a bit strange but maybe I'm not used to that kind of taste. I must mention the wines are of high quality. We are already planning to visit the restaurant again.
