Edinburghs The ivy:19/12/24 The waitress and the waiter were really nice the food sounds good and some... Interesting. Its kind of noisy. The drinks: The drinks were really nice my mother says it's really nice she also says it is fruity and goes down easily. The looks: It looks really nice there's candle's in the middle of each table the view has to much construction though there's lamps in the middle of each window to the paintings in the back are... Kind of nice actually there's a leaf in a corner of the room which I like The starter: The smoke salmon was amazing and wonderful especially with the lemon best smoke smalon ever. The foods time to come. Its taken a long time. The main course: The fish was exquisite one of a kind and the chips were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING WAY BETTER THAN THE SMOKE SALMON WHICH I THOUGHT WAS THE BEST the mushy peas were... Weird and the ribeye steak was good but burgers are still better. The dessert: Since it was my sister's birthday I got a FREE dessert and it's part of a birthday cake AND trust me IT'S TO DIE FOR!!! I’m really happy that HR now offer gluten free burger buns and my daughter said it was actually nice (trust me some aren’t 😂) I had the salmon and I’m hooked (fish, hook.. get it?) The dessert was a diabetic’s nightmare but a tastebud delight. Loved it.

Great meal! Service was a little slow but we didn’t mind, food was delicious. We had festive menu and Sunday roast for mains - it was a bit Smokey which was v close to being overpowering but overall, best Sunday roast we have had!
