Set in Kansas City’s historic City Market, Brown and Loe Restaurant’s inviting atmosphere is a blend of “big city” bistro with the welcoming casual flavor of a neighborhood favorite.     We love this restaurant. First it is beautiful but not trendy. Second the execution of the food is superb. We love the fact you can find traditional menu items still (today was Steak Dianne) and even though steak is featured there is always a variety of seafood, duck and lamb. Service was excellent also. They use first rate ingredients and sauces and salad dressings are house made and exceptional.

    Fantastic experience!! Due to a change of plans, we arrived about an hour early for our reservation on Christmas Eve and they were kind enough to accommodate us right away. I also want to mention that we originally booked a standard table but the high top was even better for the views and ambiance. We sat right in front of the most beautiful mahogany bar and got to watch the bartenders climb up and down the super high ladder. The food was all exceptional but the baked pimento cheese tray was to die for. The fresh baked sourdough bread was also phenomenal. We had mostly seafood and everything was delicious.

    Dining at Lidia's on Christmas Eve is my wife and I's tradition for many years. We enjoy the festive and friendly environment from the time we enter to the time we leave. The menu always offers our favorites and helps in making it a dining experience. Thank you to the servers and staff who make this a special evening.

    We went before a concert. It was super busy but they were able to accommodate our reservation although a little late. The services was great despite the packed restaurant. The food was delish. This was our second time here. Try the charred edamame or the Blutini! We ate some sushi rolls that were wonderful.
