Red Dog is an authentic Bar and American BAR-B-Q restaurant, serving 18-hour roast ribs, brisket, aged chuck steak burgers and much more, all best enjoyed with tasty cocktails or milkshakes.Barbeque grew up in the South of the USA where cooks learned to slow roast cuts of meat over fire pits to make them tender. Exposure to the smoke of the smouldering wood added a distinctive smoky and juicy taste to the meat. First impressions is that it is a really really nice venue, with a great atmosphere/ambiance. The customer service really was outstanding, the staff I dealt with were all very pleasant and attentive. Starter was unreal. 5/5. Fish main we had was really good, the steak however did come out well done when I had requested a med-rare. A replacement was sent out pretty much immediately which was probably more med, but still nice and juicy. However £36 for a 6oz filet and sauce I would expect it to be 10/10 and it just didn't quite meet expectations. Mains overall 3.5/5. Would visit again to try something else.
