A real French Bistro with a great menu. I've been going for many years but it had been a while since my last visit and I'm happy to report all is well here. I brought two friends with me who had never been and they were ecstatic after. Appetizers on point: The Escargot, the onion tart, and the creamed mushrooms (don't miss those--divine). Pork Tenderloin special that evening in a mustard cream sauce--so tender; the duck on the regular menu got high marks and I had the Coquilles St. Jacques..tasy but the mashed potatoes base got in the way. I would have liked to see it in the traditional shell-plated version or even in a little souffle-type basin. They have two new customers now who said it was their new favorite restaurant.

Food was amazing- it’s a must when in town - close to Rutgers, great ambiance, nice choices on menu, tasting menu is an option as well! Service was great- :))

The experience was out of this world! Extremely professional from the very moment we walked in they explained why the name of the restaurant was named Labebe. They sat me and my fiance and asked me before being seated was this a special occasion I replied yes it’s her birthday. While we were seated the waitress came over told us why they dress the way they do and took our drink orders. Came back took our order and explained why if it took longer than expected it’s due to the food being prepared fresh. Everything was incredible the food was delicious but the service was was unreal! We finished eating they boxed and bagged the food and came over told us why sing happy birthday with a sign! Not only did they do that they took pictures on there polaroid instant camera then took our phones with there own lighting and took as many as we wanted! Omar and the staff were unbelievable! I will most definitely be returning and I highly recommend everyone to dine here!

We loved our oysters, the special lobster pot pie (appy) and the parpadell pasta with seafood. Top it off with the cotton cake, old fashions to start and a wonderful Sancerre.... it was perfection . Our server michael was great as were the other folks helping to make our experience special ...... my only drawback and my fault...... a late reservation left only high top table available. Never my favorite..... until next time!

Steakhouse 85 is always excellent food wise and service wise. The bartenders are excellent and they make the evening enjoyable. The kitchen is phenomenal about my gluten allergy and I have never had an issue. It’s a pleasure to dine at this fantastic restaurant! Thank you to the owner and staff who always make us feel welcome every time.
