Friendly attentive service as always. Quality food produce with excellent cooking churn out tasty dishes. I love the garlic bread and boiled greens - something simple but done great and almost perfect. My partner love the flourless chocolate cake - she reckoned it’s the best since Merivale’s Lorraine’s Patisserie has closed. The signature dishes were tuna with avocado cream and wagyu rump with anchovy butter - so tasty that we both keep praising it and want more. However we’re a bit let down by the pearl perch - it’s a bit overcooked. Overall another great dining experience and we for sure will return.More infoMargaretPrice: Very Expensive• Modern Australian• Double Bay•4.7
- MMarcSydney •2 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe were there for a friends birthday lunch. The service was great, I believe the person looking after us was Kara. Really friendly, helpful.food was amazing, as was the wine choice. I was a little worried at first that we would be in the wine cellar. Was not sure if it would be too small, but it was actually really nice. We have been there before and definitely go back.More infoPellegrino 2000Price: Expensive• Italian• Surry Hills•4.7

- JJaneCanberra •2 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoWe booked an early sitting at Il Toscano in Long Jetty so we could secure a table inside, out of the heat of the day. The staff were friendly, and the ambiance was great. It seemed like there was quite good noise dampening in the restaurant, as we could talk to each other easily without raising our voices, despite the radio playing some lovely music, and the other tables being full. It’s a restaurant experience we haven’t had in while, as we’re rather used to being drained or strained from attempting to be heard over the noise on the floor. The food was also superb. There was gluten-free pasta for me which was cooked to perfection, but everyone was raving about the regular pasta as well, and the fluffiness of the tiramisu (which is made in the restaurant). The cocktails were also quite nice, I very much enjoyed the Hugo Spritz.More infoIl Toscano Long JettyPrice: Moderate• Italian• Shelly Beach•4.8
