- RRobertToronto / Ontario •4 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe participated in a culinary event where the chef, Christian, prepared a sample dish of tortellini in a broth, all from scratch, including rolling fresh pasta and construction of the tortellini. He was highly skilled and entertaining and my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed watching him work at close quarters while enjoying a glass of wine and an appetizer. Of course the finale was to taste his creation, which was delicious.More infoElora MillPrice: Expensive• Contemporary Canadian• Guelph•4.8

- LLindaToronto / Ontario •8 reviews4.0Dined on 17 Jan 2025We were excited to try out Kelsey's as it had been closed for a very long time from a fire. We made reservations and were happy that we did as the place was packed. We both had steak dinners and a starter caesar salad. Our side caesar came out rather quickly but our meal took about a 1/2 hour but that was okay cuz we weren't in a hurry. We both ordered steak dinners, me the 5 oz sirloin wrapped in bacon with the balsamic mushrooms and a loaded potato and my hubby had the 8 oz sirloin with french fries. My meal was lukewarm at the best, including the potato as if the whole plate had been sitting served and waiting. The loaded potato came without sour cream so I asked for some (and was charged $1 for it .. sour cream should come with a baked potato), and some very nice broccoli which was very fresh and tasty. My bacon wrapped steak was not very warm, a little tough and the balsamic mushrooms had a spice of some kind put on them which was absolutely awful. My husband's steak was not as tough which he ordered with fries and gravy on the side and he said it was okay. The atmosphere was very loud without much ambiance. Our server was too busy to be attentive. and other staff served our meal and when my husband asked for another drink he was told he'd have to ask our server who we hadn't seen in a while. There's a lot of work to be done at the re-opened Kelsey's before they get it right!More infoKelseys Original Roadhouse - Owen SoundPrice: Moderate• American• Owen Sound•2.8
