Food and drinks were great. Our service started out really well but faded fast when a larger table was sat next to us, then our server moved on. We kept having to flag down someone for water, the bill, etc. Had he come back, we would have ordered more drinks!

The experience was wonderful. From the very attentive staff and details, decor, and location to the food offerings and taste. Paloma (the waitress) was amazing and explained everything related to the tasting menu and special Costa Rican traditions in a friendly and welcoming manner. One of our party did the tasting menu while the other ordered a la carte and they timed the delivery impeccably. I would highly recommend the restaurant and overall experience.

It's the fourth time I visit Buchon and it's definitely one of the best restaurants in Costa Rica. It is very difficult to find a place that has amazing food, amazing drinks, amazing ambience and service, and amazing prices. No matter what type of food you like, I guarantee you'll have an incredible experience at Buchon. Their menu changes seasonally but it has always delivered and they maintain customer favorites. The burger and cheese cubes are a MUST. If it's your first time visiting, don't worry about parking on the street or with the local guachiman, you're in good hands!

Rybeye quality is Top!!! All dishes (Tomato Soup, Beef Carpacio, Chorizo, hamburguer) are delicious!!! Great service from Luis and staff.
