- JJennifervipSan Francisco Bay Area •1 review5.0Dined todayWe have patronized a bunch of the known popular venues and this is the best of all the big resort competitors. (Better than Bdown’s beach house, Meridia, CanoeHouse) Local chef, a local menu that is truly farm to table, and a wonderful atmosphere. We had a kabob with shrimp, steak and ahi with a beautiful presentation. We enjoyed two salads (beet was so good, it is easily enough to share) A lovely offering of sides, including a baked seasoned pumpkin which was delightful. Totally solid for kids, steak and mash was perfect and the pineapple and strawberry sorbet was a great finish. Chef/Owner came out and greeted us. We may go again tomorrow for their “happy hour, french dip”More infoFORCPrice: Very Expensive• Farm-to-table• Kamuela•4.4
- AAlexHawaii •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoWe really enjoyed our Saturday dinner buffet! Service from Kanoe was fantastic. She was very attentive and even considerate as she swapped out the napkins under our cups that were soaked. The food was delicious, poke tasted fresh, and food was seasoned! A lot of times I find buffet foods taste bland but everything I had that night had great seasoning. Seating was quick, everyone was friendly and attentive. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will be back nMore infoWSW The Steakhouse | Breakfast, Sunday Brunch & DinnerPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Hilo•4.1

Discover Hilo
Warm weather, stunning views, and friendly locals make Hilo one of Hawaii's must-visit destinations. But what many don't know is that a fantastic collection of restaurants also populates the area. Noteworthy Hawaiian dishes can be found in abundance in Hilo, as can solid Japanese and American fare. Hilo's best offerings are perhaps all-you-can-eat buffets, which are featured around the area and bring together an array of international options and fusion cuisines. You can't go wrong with authentic Hawaiian food, though, with dishes like poke and luau stew on the menu. And if you have room for dessert, Hilo's strawberry mochi is sure to leave a positive impression.
