- SsusanChicago / Illinois •2 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoThe restaurant is outstanding and beautiful. The food is outstanding. The service was a little slow at first, especially for a Monday night (but it was packed, on a Monday night!) And the line cook salting the crispy potatoes was waaaaay too heavy handed. I politely and not even remotely annoyed mentioned it to the server and they comped both the potatoes and one of our desserts, which was totally unnecessary and unexpected. We would come back again and again. In fact this is my second trip!More infoEma - GlenviewPrice: Moderate• Mediterranean• Glenview•4.7

Discover Skokie
Just northwest of downtown Chicago, the Village of Skokie, Illinois, is part Chicago suburb, part small Midwestern town. Don’t let its sleepy all-American demeanor fool you, though. With its easy access to the city center and diverse population, Skokie is as full of adventure as it is laid-back suburban charm, especially when it comes to food. Skokie’s food scene runs the gamut from hot dog carts to haute cuisine and everything in between. You can find authentic cuisine from as far away as Russia and Afghanistan. When you're craving comfort food, try some of the best hot dogs and most deliciously greasy sausages in the greater Chicago area. With modern Latin American and European bistro fare in the area as well, Skokie is an unexpected food paradise that’s well worth the trip.
