- WWoodyMississippi •3 reviews4.0Dined 1 day agoTook my wife for her birthday. My first time to dine at Char. My expectations were higher than the experience we received. My wife order the ribeye steak medium rare plus, however she was served a rare steak. We sent it back and within a very few minutes it was brought back and was cooked perfectly. Salad was great, fried green tomatoes were great and the pecan pie was the highlight of the night.More infoChar - JacksonPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Jackson•4.7

Discover Ridgeland
There are a lot of great things to eat in Jackson, Mississippi, especially in the city's Ridgeland neighborhood. It's a great place to enjoy Southern cuisine cooked in the Mississippi style. The main thing to remember before sitting down to indulge yourself in this brand of Southern cuisine is that it’s especially rich and hearty. For main course staples, expect some surprises like Mud Bugs, crawfish seasoned heavily with garlic and served with decadent, old-fashioned side dishes like potatoes, more garlic, corn, mushrooms and hearty sausage. Don't forget to save room for what is probably the top-ranking local favorite, the Mississippi mud pie.
