- EEllenvipChicago / Illinois •46 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoAbsolutely magnificent lunch. Delicious house made pate appetizer. Creamy melt in your mouth quiche with a bounty of salad that could have made a meal in itself. Make sure you save room for the chocolate pate dessert. This is the type of restaurant you wish you had in your own neighborhood so you could go there often. Even though it was a 30 minute ride from me, I’ll be back.More infoCafe TouchePrice: Moderate• Bistro• Edison Park•4.8

Discover Edison Park
Edison Park is part of the greater Chicago metropolitan area that was named after Thomas Edison. Locals love this tiny neighborhood because it offers a variety of family owned eateries instead of cookie cutter chain restaurants. You can try a host of authentic Italian dishes, from butternut squash stuffed ravioli to crisp and tender eggplant parmigiana. If pizza is more to your liking, you can even grab a slice to go or sit and stay for a whole Chicago style deep dish pie. The delicious scent of smoked meat may tempt you away from the Italian restaurants, as this area is also known for great barbecue. But the greatest part about Edison Park is that all of these amazing options are right in walking distance of the neighborhood.
