We enjoyed the fried green tomato BLT as an appetizer; I ordered shrimp and grits; my husband ordered the short ribs. Both were divine! Flavorful and presented beautifully. The service was excellent. Our server was attentive and most pleasant. He didn’t miss a beat. Two different managers came to our table to introduce themselves and check on our experience. They even treated us to a banana pudding cheesecake. That was above and beyond. We left feeling totally content. The food was delish and the service utterly delightful. Even the sides were good (smoked carrots, broccolini, mashed potatoes). Bread appetizer was so good we ordered a second one. A lot of dishes had spicy flavors or a spicy kick to it. I was a little underwhelmed with the prime rib sandwich. For dessert we tried the wild berry sorbet and tres leches cake. The cake was tasty but not quite dense enough for all the liquid and the sorbet was delicious and refreshing, generously garnished.
