- LLoriVIPOrange County •17 reviews5.0Dined on 25 Dec 2024My wife and I had a wonderful experience at Sagardi. The staff were very friendly and provided excellent service. We had a great meal and ordered the steak, salad and dessert. The steak was cooked to perfection and the salad and dessert was delicious. I would definitely recommend Sagardi as a great date night spot or after show dinner spot.More infoSagardi BCN GòticPrice: Very Expensive• Basque• Ciutat Meridiana•4.6

Discover El Born
The lower portion of the La Ribera area is called El Born, which connects it to Barceloneta, and like the neighboring Gothic Quarter also features plenty of Medieval buildings. El Born is actually one of the most visited parts of the Ciutat Vella (“the old city”) for tourists, and has lots of restaurants, bars, and boutiques, which also makes it popular with expats. Though this southern section of the larger La Ribera neighborhood is quite small, it’s become one of the most fashionable areas within Barcelona, and the rest of La Ribera is considerably poorer and far less frequented by tourists. As a result of the gentrification happening north of El Born and the way the larger area is changing, it’s able to be a very trendy and fun spot, while being cheaper and less saturated than the already-established Gothic Quarter next door.
