- RRonVIPLos Angeles •42 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoOur favorite neighborhood spot. The food is always extraordinary. We had couple of less than stellar experiences out of many the were, in fact, stellar. Lately and especially yesterday, the experience was fantastic. Everyone was friendly. The service was paced perfectly. We took friends from out of town to experience Saffy’s and they could not stop raving about every dish. We all had a hard time picking the best of the night. Great spot. Highly recommended. RG.More infoSaffy'sPrice: Expensive• Middle Eastern• East Hollywood•4.8
- BBiancaLos Angeles •12 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoHighly recommend this place! I’ve been here so many times because the small plates are well priced and always delicious. I would pay more if they charged more because the food is that good. This is my favorite mediterranean restaurant in LA. We had the glazed pork, sea bass, brussels sprouts, mac and cheese, lamb hummus, and “the best cake”. The lamb hummus with puta was to die for and the cake is my favorite gluten free dairy free way to end any meal. Best. Cake. Ever. We’re still talking about this meal days later. The silverlake location is definitely the most beautiful one and the biggest with its multiple levels of seating within the trees.More infoBacari SilverlakePrice: Expensive• Italian• Silver Lake•4.7
- KKyleVIPPhoenix / Arizona •8 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoI will come back again and again and again for that branzino. It’s next level, like death row meal status. The drinks are good, but definitely heavy on the mezcal (and pre-made so no substituting). The service was great - we sat at the ceviche bar, so it was really fun to watch the chefs do their thing. The yellowtail and toro sashimis were so fresh and light, and the Magdalena had perfectly balanced flavors. Vibes were immaculate too. Discover Elysian Valley
Elysian Valley is better known to Angelenos as Frogtown. Like an island community, the neighborhood by the banks of one of the few remaining river-like portions of the Los Angeles River has a local art and food culture that dwarfs its small size and population. For years, only one American-style burger restaurant served Frogtown. Now, restaurants offering upscale Mexican and Spanish cuisine and small plates like tapas fill the area. Contemporary American food shares space with music venues and sandwich cafes. You will find more lunch and dinner options than breakfast choices. Elysian Valley is a small neighborhood that blends art, community and culture in a quirky, creative food scene.
