Appetizer of mushrooms and creamy cheesy grits was delicious, the wrapped. cod over a bed of creamy orzo and beans was so moist and satisfying. Service was outstanding and the ambience was nice, though there was a strong musty smell to the room, probably from the thick carpet. Discover New Harbor
The small seaside village of New Harbor offers beautiful views and traditional New England fare. The two attractions pair impeccably well. A cottage café sells out of sticky buns every morning and makes homemade haddock chowder every afternoon. A dive by the sea serves crabs Benedict outside for breakfast. You can't get fresher seafood than what's at a fish house on the wharf. Steamers and lobster rolls are perfectly prepared. A trendy gastropub serves seasonal salads with a floral flair and bright fish tacos. For something more intimate, head to a coastal inn with a gourmet menu that includes cioppino and duck breast with risotto.
