- LLinBaltimore / Maryland •2 reviews5.0Dined on 16 Nov 2024Artisans was not too busy on the weeknight we ate there, and that may have helped the level of service—excellent, and the nice quiet atmosphere. The food preparation and taste combinations are simply artistry on a plate. Unusual and yet delicious! Only thing that still needs to be fixed are the uncomfortable chairs, for smaller people, but at least they offer cushions now to help. A really special meal!More infoArtisan - Traverse CityPrice: Expensive• American• Traverse City•4.6
- KKellyGrand Rapids / Western Michigan •5 reviews5.0Dined on 1 Nov 2024Friday early dinner and we decided on happy hour menu for meal. Quickly sat. Server was fantastic! Food was very tasty. Wonton tacos are messy and spicy, but tasty. Wouldn't order again. The boneless wings and walleye bites were delicious. Old Fashioned was odd w soda water, but all others were perfect! Ambience was okay for being a hotel restaurant/bar. Noise level was low but increased as others arrived. Second time here w food and drink consistently the same and well worth the prices.More infoReflect Bistro inside Cambria SuitesPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Traverse City•4.7
Restaurant experiences trending in Northern Michigan / Upper Peninsula
Discover Maple City
Northern Michigan and its Upper Peninsula have long established themselves as prime destinations for foodie connoisseurs of all stripes, and that trend seems to be only growing. You can get good ol' American back-woods cookin' at several well-loved restaurants in this little town of only 1,500. But the unexpected cuisine diversity you find here includes an authentic French cafe, an Italian trattoria, and a true pub that seems to have been imported unchanged from the British Isles. The latter gives you everything from fish and chips to Yorkshire pudding. There are also full-blooded American bars and grills and a vegetarian-friendly deli thrown into the mix.
