- EEdwardPittsburgh •1 review4.0Dined 2 days agoWhile overall the dining experience was fine, there is a couple of things that I would like to address. First the stuffed mushrooms were not consistent. Some of the mushroom caps were too small for stuffing. Second, the rice that was served with the grilled salmon was in the warmer too long and was on the dry side. The salmon was done to perfection and the side of brussel sprouts were to die for. So overall our dining experience earned a four star rating.More infoRed Lobster - MonroevillePrice: Moderate• Seafood• Monroeville•3.8

- RRobertaWest Virginia •6 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoThis was our first time at Mary’s Vine, but won’t be the last. The food was excellent, as were the cocktails. Our server, explained everything about the menu and assisted us in choosing wine to go with our meals. It was a little noisy as there was a large party celebrating a birthday, but other than that, we had a most enjoyable evening. It was the perfect was to begin the Christmas holiday!More infoMary's VinePrice: Moderate• Wine Bar• Homestead•4.8
- SSusanVIPPittsburgh •221 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoWe had a very enjoyable evening at Eighty Acres last night. Our server, Michelle is so friendly and professional. Chef. Don makes the best Walleye with Black Garlic aioli and shredded brussell sprout slaw. My husband loved the Filet Mignon that was prepared perfectly medium rare. We always enjoy after dinner drinks at the bar with Paolo. Amy is the most gracious host anywhere.More infoEighty Acres Kitchen & BarPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Plum•4.9

Discover Penn Hills
North of Pittsburgh is where you'll find a culinary feast. Just like Steel City, Penn Hills is a haven for soul and Asian food. It's the perfect place to sit back and enjoy cornbread or hushpuppies - or both! Local farmers' markets provide homegrown veggies and fruits, and most have sit-down options where you can share a bite. Italian wedding soup, the American version at least, has its roots in the Pittsburgh area. Penn Hills is certainly no stranger to this classic; it has a place on almost all of the Italian restaurants in town. At locally owned restaurants, you're apt to find Eastern European fare, too. The pierogies made here are a staple, even for those who don't have Polish heritage.
