- JJerriVIPHouston •52 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoThis was our first time at the Bon Ton, we were all very pleased and will come again when visiting New Orleans. We pre-ordered (as recommended on the website) the 32-34 oz prime rib for sharing. Had the Cajun bacon and the cheese mashed potatoes, also shared. Everything was excellent. The waiters were attentive but not intrusive and answered all our questions.More infoBon Ton Prime RibPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Central Business District•4.7

Favs were the kale and beet salad and the ricotta app. Three in my party were GF and loved the pasta and the separate oven for the pizzas. Would def recommend and go back!More infoSofia New OrleansPrice: Expensive• Italian• Warehouse District•4.7
- DDavidVIPSeattle / Eastern Washington •85 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoThis was our fourth or fifth visit to Chophouse Nola!!! We'll be back again next trip to Nola. This establishment has set high standards for itself and met them all....as was the case on all our previous visits.....flawless service, prime steaks always done to perfection, quality cocktails, extensive wine list, many good choices available by the glass, too. Don't miss the baked shrimp appetizer. Memorable!More infoChophouse New Orleans – Prime SteaksPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Central Business District•4.6
- KKimberleyOrlando / Central Florida East •3 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoThe service and food was outstanding. I traveled with my daughter for my “traveling into 50” goal. This was my splurge meal in New Orleans and I was not disappointed! We both had the ribeye and then split the fries (plenty of food). Drinks were delicious and the dessert was out of this world. I decided to eat as many bread puddings as I could this trip and this was by far my favorite!More infoMerilPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Warehouse District•4.5

12 stellar special-occasion restaurants in New Orleans
New Orleanians mark time by food seasons, not calendar flips. The hottest months belong to frozen daiquiris and technicolor snoballs. When it comes to celebrating a birthday, graduation, or just feeling alive in the Big Easy, the stage is set with buckets of seafood, cocktails in James Beard Award-winning bars, and grand dining rooms that have hosted generations of milestone events. Read on for a guide to the 12 best restaurants to book across New Orleans to get the party started.
