- PPoopsieNew Hampshire •1 review4.0Dined 3 days agoWent on a quiet Monday night when there was no reservation fee. Because of this, I would not pay a reservation fee on a Friday night. The service and food was great and I would recommend a slow night to check it out.More infoRooftop at The EnvioPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Portsmouth•4.3

The duck pie with quince was delicious, as was the parsnip soup, and crispy skin chicken. The chocolate pudding is one of the best desserts ever. There was a kitchen mishap on the scotch egg, but the staff handled it graciously. Wonderful place for a special occasion.More infoThe Puddle DockPrice: Expensive• American• Portsmouth•4.8
- JJohnVIPGreater Boston •37 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoMy family and I (6 in all) enjoyed an excellent dinner last night. We were celebrating my granddaughter's 21st, and they graciously provided a celebratory glass of Prosecco, and made a point of coming over to add his congradulations. Nothing but praise for the entire experience. That being said, one word of caution...parking is very difficult so if you don't know Portsmouth please give yourself some extra time and figure out how to get to a parking garage and walk to the restaurant. I was lucky and found a spot 50 feet from the front door....but my kids took 15 minutes to sort it out.More infoRistorante MassimoPrice: Expensive• Italian• Portsmouth•4.8

Everyone else who came to our table was very friendly and warm but our server appeared to be annoyed the entire time to have our table.More infoRow 34 - PortsmouthPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Portsmouth•4.7
- EEricGreater Boston •4 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoThe food was good, service also good. Eric was our server and did a good job with his colleagues to take good care of our needs. Much appreciated, thanks! Gets a bit loud in there but no complaints. Definitely will be back!!More infoToscana Chop HousePrice: Moderate• Steakhouse• Portsmouth•4.5

Discover New Castle
As a town that consists of islands and a number of iconic lighthouses, New Castle is one of the most unique communities in New Hampshire. The seafood restaurants in New Castle are outstanding largely due to the availability of fresh seafood on a daily basis. However, proximity to the sea does not mean that there are no other excellent eating options. You'll find multiple family-style American restaurants and authentic Italian pizzerias and pasta bars. There are also many establishments near the water that offer great comfort food in an open-air setting overlooking the bay. No tour of the island city is complete without stopping off for something tasty to eat.
