- JJohnPittsburgh •5 reviews4.0Dined todayFood was good, service was good and friendly. A little disappointed by our seat option; the restaurant was aware that we were there for a special occasion and we were still seated on the “patio” right next to the door. Overall, I can’t make any real complaints. At the same time, I wasn’t exceedingly impressed so it wouldn’t be my first choice for our next special occasion mealMore infoCasbahPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• Shadyside•4.8

- MMattvipPittsburgh •8 reviews5.0Dined on 19 Oct 2024We went for dinner for the first time on a Saturday night. The staff is very friendly. They make everything in house, which means the food isn’t already prepared in the kitchen so you will wait longer than most restaurants for your food but it’s worth the wait. We had drinks and appetizers while waiting for our entrees. Everything was wonderful. Again the staff/owner all were very friendly, they make you feel very welcome. . Make sure you make reservations it isn’t a very big places and all the tables were booked when we went.More infoNancetta's RistorantePrice: Expensive• Italian• Fox Chapel•4.2

Discover Oakmont
By the Allegheny River in Pennsylvania lies the borough of Oakmont where several U.S. Open golf tournaments have been held. This Pittsburgh suburb derived its name from a black oak tree that originally served as an important landmark. Oakmont residents and visitors like to head toward the river when they're hungry. Cafes, pizzerias, and sushi bars operate side-by-side on Allegheny River Boulevard and other nearby streets. You can get Italian wedding soup as a starter or taste a variety of spicy Thai curries. Perhaps you'll enjoy a Victorian tea party at high noon. Surprisingly, many of the borough's restaurant owners allow you to bring your own beer, and others provide a nice selection of craft beers.
