Arrived , friendly welcome , ordered drinks and given time to view menu - good choice of food and wine , both food and wine excellent, lovely evening, definitely go again

We have just had our first visit to The Lytton Arms and we could not speak anymore highly of the experience. We had the roast and it was absolutely delicious. We were way too full for pudding but after seeing the menu we couldn’t resist, we’re so glad we did as the cheesecake and mousse were to die for. The pub had such a homely welcoming vibe and the staff were so attentive and polite. We had a lovely chat with the manager John and could see he puts his heart and soul into what he does and it pays off. We will 100% be recommending this pub and returning! Thank you!

Had Sunday lunch menu. Food and service was very good and chicken liver parfait was one of the best I’ve had. Restaurant wasn’t busy, so a bit lacking in ambience. Whilst I get the sharing idea, they are not serving tapas, so giving you a side plate for your main meal, which comprised of steak, potatoes, Yorkshire pudding and plenty of vegetables, was really silly! Also I think their 48 hour cancellation policy is a bit harsh - most places are 24 hours. All that being said, I will definitely be going back, but will insist on a dinner plate next time!

We went to Lussmans for an early dinner following a family visit to Beam Theatre for the Panto. It was fairly quiet in the restaurant as it was late afternoon. The service, food and ambience were excellent - my children are 9 and 5 but the menu selection was good and nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend and we will be returning!

Very nice experience, cosy pub atmosphere and great service from very friendly staff with excellent food to boot .
