Superb place really magical ambience. The staff were brilliant; friendly and attentive. Went for a Christmas meal with my daughter and we were not disappointed. The food was excellent and the ox cheek sublime. Can’t wait to go again next time in York.

Tasteful Christmas decorations and ambience. Great service, food excellent. 3 of us had the sirloin steak which was perfectly cooked. My favourite, local eating place. Midweek early dining is great value for money and a great dining experience.

Service, food, atmosphere all faultless. Not a special occasion as such, met a friend for a regular catch up but was made special by being in The Ivy!

From the moment we entered the building the service was outstanding,confirming our booking and showing us your table,confirming my birthday. Not wanting a large meal we opted for fish and chips and a burger meal both arrived in good time and the good as I expected was 1st class. We had a couple of drinks and paid .a truly enjoyable birthday meal. Thankyou
