The only downfall was the intense smell of cigarette smoke at the host check in room, it was overwhelming, but once we made it into the restaurant it was gone. My wife had the ribeye tacos and I opted for the short rib. Both were incredible. We will definitely dine at Sugarbacon again! We had 8 people, (4 pm Tuesday), (3 people at noon the first time), so the second time we actually went in a couple days before to check with the person in charge of seating and he said he would have a place ready and wrote our details down. We got there and they were not ready for us at all. We waited for a setup, and he then put us together in a corner against a wall and counter on 2 sides, though 2/3 the restaurant was empty. We couldn’t get out, they couldn’t get around, and they were not expecting us it seemed. The place was too noisy to hear except for the person right next to us. The food was seasoned really well, but the steak for the fajitas was dry. The tacos on our first visit were outstanding.
