- BBrandieSeattle / Eastern Washington •5 reviews4.0Dined on 29 Nov 2024Not worth the special trip if you aren't staying at the hotel already. Parking was very unclear for dinner guests; we needed to ask valet what to do. The parking lot is far opposite end from the restaurant, so you either have to walk all the way around the hotel's exterior, or navigate all the interior hallways to find it. Our reservation was meaningless; we waited 20 min to even be acknowledged by the single staff member at the restaurant. She then sent us over to have dinner in the bar because she was too busy to serve us! Their saving grace was that the food was tasty, and the server in the bar was nicer. The price was highfor what we got, but it's a hotel restaurant. We won't be back unless actually a guest in the hotel and have limited options.More infoAqua Terra - Marriott SeaTacPrice: Expensive• American• Seatac•4

5 Must-Book Restaurants in Seattle
Despite economic challenges, restaurant openings currently outpace closures in the Seattle area. The Top 9 Seattle Restaurants for Outdoor Dining
For much of the year, Seattle is gray, a bit cold—and yes, rainy. But from May to September, sunshine and warm temps transform the city. Across Seattle, there are many perfect patios for sipping cocktails, lakeside venues with skyline views and fresh seafood, and cozy backyards to enjoy al fresco dining. So while the sunshine doesn’t last long in the Emerald City, as summer inches closer, here are a few of the best places in the city to visit for excellent food and drinks outside.
The 10 Greatest Restaurants in Seattle
There’s great seafood to be consumed in Seattle, but it’s only the beginning of what the Emerald City has to offer. Boasting one of the country’s most creative and diverse dining scenes, Seattle is dedicated to sourcing locally—from land to sea. Storied restaurants, from Canlis, the pinnacle of Pacific Northwestern fine-dining, to chic modern hangouts like the Walrus and the Carpenter, prove Seattle’s range and prowess. And even as the city’s changed over the last decade, growing and evolving under a massive tech boom, its soul remains as vibrant and bold as ever.
The Top Restaurants by Cuisine in Seattle
Whether it’s a margherita pizza or sashimi you seek, here are the best places by cuisine type, according to our tastemakers.
Discover SeaTac
Many people know SeaTac International Airport, but few are aware of the community of SeaTac, Washington, the city that surrounds includes the Airport. Hurried travelers enjoy excellent choices like slices of toasted baguette covered with local Pacific smoked salmon and smears of crab. Another quick stop at an eatery inside the airport or out in the community can yield a cup of Pacific Northwest coffee and a box of hand-crafted chocolates featuring unique and hand-crafted inclusions. You could also savor a fresh tomazzo bagel, an extra-large steam-baked bagel dipped in a lively pizza sauce and covered with mozzarella cheese. For another option, the muffin sandwich filled with crab, egg and cheese sticks with you for the rest of the day.
