   Overall, this restaurant is one of my favorites at Myrtle Beach. This is not my first experience with New York Prime and to be celebrating a birthday was a bit upsetting. The food, can’t complain. The service fell short. My husband had a filet with sauce for his filet that came on a side dish for pouring over his filet and a side of their cheesy mashed potatoes. I ordered a lobster which they will reduce all the work for you and take it all out of the shell so you never get your hands dirty. The upsetting part was that they served my husband his filet which then he had to wait for my lobster to get to the table (the side of bernaise for his steak and mashed potatoes which sat at the bus pan until my meal was served). I asked twice to please just give him his sides so he could start eating the service stated on but to no avail. By the time my plate and the sides arrived his steak was cold, the bernaise was cold as well. We also felt we did not get the attention deserved due to a large table the server gave the up most attention to. This restaurant is one you need to visit. Sometimes it’s unfortunate that you don’t get the same experience. It’s sad that you can spend around $500 for two people and feel you didn’t get the best experience.

   The food was excellent as usual. The service was well below what we have come to expect from New York Prime and they seated us near where the dishes were returned to the kitchen and it was extremely loud. It was so loud that you couldn't even have a conversation.

   Last minute date night with my wife. Meal and service was excellent. Portion size was good and overall a very nice evening.

   First time here. Very impressed. Everyone could not have been friendlier. The service was outstanding. Special shout out to Ali, our server, who was very welcoming, helpful and attentive. The food was quite delicious. The ambiance very pretty. We will absolutely be back. Thank you for a wonderful evening!
