I’ve been to other Nobu’s and this time it was quite average at best. The miso cod continues to be a near perfect dish but the other dishes like the rock shrimp were very mediocre. It was served on what looked like a bagged chopped salad with way too much vinegar. The warm mushroom salad looked great but same thing, overkill on the acid. For the price there are way better dinning choices.

Great food, service and experience. It is pricey but so good! I’ll keep going to Nobu SD! It was slightly noisy but it does not change my very positive experience! The food was amazing. My son loved it and it was his first time sushi experience. I have set the bar too high! It is a must go to for sushi place with so many other great dishes!

Maybe it’s a new way of dining, but I was reminded at least six times by text call and in-person that I only had two hours to enjoy the dinner with my party of four and the last thing they told me as they’re were seating us down at the table …”remember only two hours” that started me off with a really bad taste in my mouth here we are spending almost $1000 and celebrating some success and I’m finding myself watching the clock That’s not enjoyable It’s silly and shows a lack of respect for your customer. Imagine if I said I’m sorry, but I could only operate on you for an hour after that we’re done just so I can turn out more cases doesn’t make any sense to me. That certainly ruined the some of the night and ambience the wait staff was otherwise excellent.

I love Wagyu. We spent north of a grand for three people. Would’ve been worth it if the A5 Wagyu actually tasted like Wagyu at all. The black cod and king crab were really good though.

Nobu San Diego is always a great experience. The menu offers a great variety of items. We enjoyed some of our favorites. We had some of our usual favorites and added in some other items as well. Everything was grat.

We went with a party of 8 and did the "family style" dining where we let Nobu curate a menu for us. It was perfect since it took a lot of the thinking out of the equation and we still had the opportunity to customize per our preferences. Amazing experience, would definitely go back
